Database of Risk Assessment Tools for Targeted Violence Prevention

This website was developed by the Community Safety and Evaluation Lab (CSE-Lab) at the Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health. This database includes a variety of risk assessment tools that have been used by professionals working with individuals at risk of committing an act of violence. This searchable database compiles tools derived from systematic literature reviews on the topic. Professionals across various fields can conduct customizable searches for risk assessment tools that may help them evaluate various types of risk, including violence, recidivism, mental health crises, and other safety concerns. The database includes detailed information on the purpose of the tool, target population, reliability, and approach to assessment.
